Silicon Valley Consultancy Bets on the UK

As the UK plans to exit the EU, iTalent Digital expands its European base in London.

31 October 2017, London – iTalent Digital, the woman and minority-owned digital consulting company that has been disrupting the dominance of the Big Four firms, today announced the amplification of its full-service EMEA footprint in London. The Silicon Valley company’s choice of London as its regional consulting headquarters marks a show of confidence in the UK tech scene, based on considerations including the high demand for SMAC-focused solutions, skilled labour force, and the diverse ecosystem of supporting industries and partners. The announcement comes just ahead of the Silicon Valley Comes to the UK programme, where iTalent CEO and Founder Renée La Londe will be participating as a mentor and keynote speaker.

The San Jose, California-based digital transformation services firm has plans to incorporate the vibrant innovation taking place in the UK along with its world-class academic institutions into its own growth plans, which include the establishment of an engineering center of excellence in the UK, to complement its thriving development centers in Hyderabad, India and Austin, Texas, United States. This global footprint enables iTalent to provide the very best service and support to its global Fortune 1000 customer base.

“Our work with clients and partners in the UK has grown to a point where it’s time to scale up our operations,” said Renée La Londe, CEO and founder of iTalent Digital. “We believe the UK offers a major opportunity and we’re already seeing significant demand for our agile, progressive approach to consulting.”

iTalent Digital has picked up considerable market share in the U.S., as more and more companies recognise the need for a more agile, fast-paced and transparent approach to digital transformation. iTalent has also built up an impressive customer base of blue-chip global companies and has partnerships with best-in-class technology providers like Lithium, Microsoft, Google Cloud, Tableau, Amazon Web Services, Anaplan and Salesforce. Many of iTalent’s customers and partners also use the UK as a base for their EMEA operations, yet another factor that makes London a logical fit for the company’s expansion.

iTalent’s deep technology expertise coupled with an excellent business acumen creates a formula that delivers compelling and unique innovations in the various platforms it supports.

“iTalent has been a long-time partner on a number of exciting features of Lithium’s engagement platform, including our automated language translation connector,” said Larry Nelson, Vice President of Business Development and Partnerships at Lithium Technologies. “The UK continues to be an important domain for us as we help brands across the globe deliver amazing digital CX, and we’re pleased to see iTalent’s expansion into this region.”

Polo Crosbie, Director of EMEA Solutions for iTalent Digital, noted the double-digit growth in European technology investment, particularly in the SMAC stack (Social, Mobile, Analytics and Cloud) where iTalent excels. “SMAC is anticipated to be the biggest driver of enterprise IT investment in the UK over the next three to five years,” said Polo. “This, coupled with the appetite we are seeing for our Change Management services and our emerging AI practice, represents a fertile business environment for us as innovators in these spaces.”

As part of iTalent’s expansion plans, the company’s practice leads will be further building out their teams and capabilities, starting with the high-demand areas of transformation (change) management, enterprise collaboration, and business analytics, in addition to the establishment of an innovation center in collaboration with the area’s top academic institutions.

“London is a leading destination for Silicon Valley businesses looking to scale and expand into the European market. Tech companies based in London can benefit from access to the city’s unrivalled talent pool, made up of people from all over the world,” said Janet Coyle, Director SVC2UK at London & Partners. “iTalent Digital is a pioneer in promoting women and minorities in the workforce and London welcomes businesses that reflect the city’s values of openness and inclusivity. In the coming weeks, we are looking forward to bringing together some of the best minds from the Bay area and UK tech scenes and we are delighted that Renée will be joining us.”
